steps that UK Energy Management (NE) Ltd has taken
to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or
supply chains.

About UK Energy Management (NE) Ltd
UK Energy Management (NE) Ltd is a UK-based company delivering energy efficiency services to
households, focusing on insulation, heating systems, and renewable energy solutions. Our operations
are primarily within the UK, and we engage a network of suppliers and contractors to support our
services.

Our Commitment to Preventing Modern Slavery
We are fully committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our corporate
activities and to ensuring our supply chains are free from such practices. We have a zero-tolerance
approach to slavery and human trafficking and expect the same high standards from those we work
with.

Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include:
– Suppliers of materials such as boilers, insulation, and ventilation equipment
– Lead Generation Suppliers
– Office and administrative services providers

While we believe our exposure to modern slavery risk is low, we remain vigilant, particularly with
subcontracted labour and supplier partnerships.

Policies and Procedures
To address and mitigate modern slavery risks, we have the following policies and controls in place:
– Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
– Code of Conduct for staff and contractors
– Whistleblowing Policy to report concerns confidentially
– Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets clear expectations regarding labour practices.

Due Diligence Processes
We conduct risk-based due diligence on suppliers and contractors. This includes:
– Pre-engagement assessments
– Requiring contractual commitments to anti-slavery standards
– Monitoring and performance reviews

Risk Assessment and Management
We assess risk in our operations and supply chains, with particular focus on:
– Any potential use of subcontracted labour
– High-volume material suppliers
– New supplier relationships

Controls are in place to flag and respond to elevated risk areas.

Training and Awareness
We provide awareness training to relevant staff to help them:
– Understand the signs of modern slavery
– Know how to report suspicions or breaches
– Recognise the importance of responsible procurement

Effectiveness and Monitoring
We measure effectiveness through:
– Annual policy reviews
– Staff training records
– Supplier compliance monitoring

No reported incidents during the reporting period

Future Actions
For the upcoming financial year, we aim to:
– Introduce enhanced supplier audits
– Expand training to more departments
– Integrate anti-slavery checks into supplier onboarding.
