ECO4 Funding

Apply for ECO4 funding: how the ECO4 scheme is helping families like yours to cope with the ongoing energy crisis
Check Eligibility

Applying is quick and simple. You’re not forced to commit.

AND YOU WON’T NEED TO PAY A PENNY towards the work your home receives

The best thing about the scheme is that all you need to do is register your interest. Our dedicated team here at UKEM will take care of everything else for you: from checking your eligibility to enrolling you in the scheme, to ensuring all your energy-efficient home improvements are carried out by qualified tradespeople and installers.

How is the government-backed ECO4 scheme achieving this, and do I qualify?

The primary objective of the ECO4 scheme is to help vulnerable individuals and low-income households to become more energy efficient. Targeted at properties that fall within the efficiency bands E, F and G, the grant can be used for the installation or upgrade of cavity wall insulation, central heating improvements and loft insulation.

All of this is provided FREE of charge by the ECO4 scheme, but that isn’t the only benefit. With huge amounts of energy lost through poor insulation, using this government initiative to upgrade your home will save you money on bills month after month.

So, where does UKEM
feature in all of this?

We’re the ones who can get you started on your ECO4 grant journey AND see it through to completion right by your side. We will manage your journey from start to finish, working to provide the best options of funding available to create a more comfortable, energy-efficient home for you and your family.

Okay, so what’s the catch?

At first glance, this may sound a little too good to be true, but there really is no catch. Provided your circumstances align with the government’s criteria, the ECO4 grant will be accessible to you.

If you are a homeowner or private tenant and receive any of the qualifying benefits listed below, you are likely to be eligible for the ECO4 grant.

Introduced in April of 2022, the ECO4 scheme has replaced previous government-backed initiatives, such as ECO3.

This scheme aims to support low-income households by providing them with low-cost, high-efficiency heating and insulation solutions.

After all, an energy-efficient home is much cheaper to heat, leading to a more comfortable living environment and a greatly improved quality of life.

How do I know the ECO4 scheme is legitimate?

In this day and age, you can never be too careful. Thankfully, the ECO4 scheme is 100% legitimate and government backed. It’s been widely covered by numerous media channels online, but you can read all about it on the UK government’s own website.

Aims of the ECO4 grant scheme:

  • Improve the energy efficiency of properties that fall under bands E, F or G

  • Support low-income households struggling to manage with rising fuel costs

  • Making the UK more energy efficient and combat climate change

  • Bring the scheme to a wider range of people than previous schemes (such as ECO3)

  • Get local authorities and energy suppliers directly involved in supporting fuel-poor households and tackling climate change
