With information about COVID-19 seemingly changing by the day, there is very little surprise some homeowners either feel uncertain or somewhat concerned about the correct protocol for tradespeople entering their home.

This is completely understandable given the circumstances and hardly surprising when you consider that one in three people were nervous about opening their doors to tradespeople during the second lockdown of 2020.

With this in mind, here in this blog, we are going to outline what measures we have in place to give you the reassurance that despite things feeling a little more relaxed, your safety and peace of mind is of utmost importance to us. Here is how we ensure optimum safety and efficiency for our customers.

Disposable facemask

All installing staff wear appropriate PPE

All tradesmen ensure appropriate PPE is worn and that the necessary hygiene measures are adhered to such as sanitizing hands before and after leaving the property.

An awareness of enforcing social distancing measures

Close contact by maintaining at least 2 metres distance (around 3 steps) is prioritised during a visit and every effort is made to avoid touching any surfaces or objects other than those necessary to do the work.

All work carried out safely

Work carried out in any of our customer’s homes, for example by any of our tradespeople is going to be carried out by a professional tradesperson who is well and has no unusual symptoms or signs of COVID-19.

We will not carry out work in any premises in which someone is isolating or where an individual is being shielded until it is safe to do so.

Once the work is completed, our tradesman will inform the homeowner which surfaces and areas have come in contact with so these can then be cleaned thoroughly.
